Chichaklar Dance Company Features Movements from the Land of Fire

Azerbajian’s connection the Silk Road goes back to centuries.  A country whose flame never ceases when it comes to performing arts.

One of the country’s most vibrant traditions is its  impressive dances.  They tell stories of its history and its people.

At the festival, visitors will have an opportunity to enjoy the vibrant culture of Azerbajian with three performances presented by the Chichaklar Dance Company.

Sari Gelin – the story of a bride who has been separated from their loved ones
Lezqinka – a fast-paced dance which represents being a warrior
Drum/Saz Dance – dance with musical instruments
