Rancho Folclorico Cruz de Cristo shares Portugal with Energetic Moves

Music and arts play an important role in Portuguese culture.  

Rancho Folclorico Cruz de Cristo is a traditional Portuguese Folk dance group established over 42 years ago.

The non-profit organization goal is to promote Portuguese culture through music and dance, to cultivate and promote public interest, awareness and appreciation of the traditional culture and heritage of Portugal.

The group is made up of dancers, musicians and singers wearing original hand-woven and embroidered wool outfits representing northern Portugal.

They have performed  at many cultural and church events, festivals, and seniors homes throughout Vancouver.
